BILLING & REFUNDS

Billing & Refund Policy

Payment, automatic renewal, cancellation, service commencement, and refund rules for Premium and credit purchases.

Effective August 14, 2026Version 1.0

1. Paddle and payment environment

Datlivo uses Paddle Checkout. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for payment collection, tax, payment methods, receipts, and approved refunds; PKL Labs provides Datlivo and technical support.

SANDBOX means no real charge. A real payment occurs only in LIVE checkout, so review the environment and Paddle order summary before purchase.

2. Products, price, and tax

  • Premium is a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription with the features and credits shown on the pricing page.
  • Credit packages are one-time purchases used for eligible AI image and video features.
  • Basic is free; Business follows any separate quote and agreement.
  • Paddle checkout controls the final currency, tax, discount, billing cycle, and total.

3. Order and service commencement

Before payment, review product, quantity, cycle, renewal, currency, tax-inclusive total, email, and payment method. Entitlements or credits are added after Paddle approval and a verified event is received.

Starting a credit-based AI generation begins the digital service and may deduct the displayed credits.

4. Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew on the monthly or annual cycle shown in checkout until canceled. Cancel through the Paddle customer portal opened from Datlivo or the management link in Paddle email.

Cancellation normally takes effect at period end and prevents the next renewal; it does not automatically refund the current period. Legally required notice and consent apply to price increases or paid conversions.

5. Withdrawal and refunds

  • Mandatory consumer law or the Paddle refund policy applicable at purchase controls when it gives stronger rights.
  • Valid withdrawal and refund requests made within the applicable period follow those procedures and deadlines.
  • Except where law or service-failure remedies require otherwise, used subscription time, spent credits, started AI work, or delivered digital results may be non-refundable for change of mind or unmet expectations alone.
  • Material non-conformity, failure to provide core service, duplicate or unauthorized charges, and non-waivable remedies may qualify for re-performance, credit restoration, or partial or full refund.

6. Failures and entitlement reversal

If a system or provider error prevents valid AI work from starting or confirms failure, usage records may support automatic or manual credit restoration. Subjective quality concerns alone do not guarantee restoration when the job completed and results were delivered.

After a full refund or chargeback, related subscription access, unused credits, and paid online results may be withdrawn to the extent allowed by law. Good-faith refund or chargeback requests are not penalized merely for being made.

7. Failed payment, receipts, and requests

Paddle may retry failed payments or set a subscription to past_due, paused, or canceled. Tax details, invoices, and receipts are handled through Paddle's customer portal or buyer support.

For refunds, provide the account email, Paddle order or transaction number, product, date, relevant credits or task, and reason to Datlivo support or Paddle buyer support. Approved refunds return to the original payment method and may take additional bank processing time.

8. Records and policy changes

Transaction and supply records may be kept for 5 years, complaints and disputes for 3 years, and advertising records for 6 months under Korean law. Material changes apply to new transactions without unfair retroactive effect.

The checkout terms, Paddle policy at purchase, and mandatory consumer law prevail when more favorable to the buyer.
